What is covered?

Loss or damage caused by:

• Fire explosion lightning earthquake
• Smoke
• Storm and flood
• Riot Civil Commotion Strike labour and political disturbances
• Act of malicious persons or vandals
• Collision by Vehicles
• Escape of water from tanks pipes or apparatus or fixed heating installation.
• Resulting damage by theft or attempted theft involving entry to or exit from the building by forcible and violent means or by deception as a means of entry
• Subsidence and/or heave of the site on which the buildings stand and/or landslip.

Optional extensions

• Extension A - Loss of rent and cost of alternative accommodation
• Extension B - Breakage of fixed glass and sanitary fixtures
• Extension C – Your Liability to the Public

Minimum details to get a quote

• Insured Details
• Building Name and Location
• No. of floors and the built-up area of the building
• Breakdown of contents to be insured
• Most recent photographs of the risk to be insured

How to claim?

Inform Takaful Operator immediately after the incident by:

• Calling customer care toll-free number 1600, or
• Emailing to [email protected]

Important instructions

1. Should make sure that you take all necessary action to minimize the losses.

2. In the event of a fire, collision involving third party, burglary/theft or malicious damage claim, you must notify the police as soon as possible and obtain a police report.

3. All damaged items should be preserved for inspection

4. Do not admit liability at any point or offer to settle the claim unless you have obtained the written consent from Takaful Operator.
