BML Scholarship Fund

What does it cover?

The programme covers:

• Tuition fees
• Monthly stipend
• Visa fees
• Yearly book allowance
• Establishment allowance
• Air tickets

Place of study

Study from any of the top 200 universities listed in the Times Higher Education University Ranking Guide. While a placement is not required at the time of application for the Scholarship Fund but if selected, candidates must present this before to be awarded the scholarship.

Fields of study

Eligible candidate must apply to pursue Undergraduate Studies in a banking and finance related field. This could be, and is not limited to:

• Banking
• Finance
• Accounting
• Financial Technology
• Financial Engineering
• Risk management
• Financial reporting and analytics

Eligibility criteria

• Must be a Maldivian citizen aged between 18-25 years old
• Must have completed High Secondary Education (A levels) and have passed in all subjects
• Must choose a university undergraduate degree programme in a banking and finance related area from any of the top 200 universities listed in the Time Higher Education University Rankings guide
• Must not be in receipt of any other scholarship at the time of application and during study.

Applicants can submit the completed Application Form and email required supporting documents to: [email protected] by end of 10 November 2024.

Application process

Candidates will be evaluated based on the Selection Criteria detailed in the FAQ. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
