As part of our strategy to support local communities during the Covid-19 pandemic, BML has taken the initiative to donate vital Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to healthcare workers and other essential workers. With this initiative, BML made a donation of 500 face shields to 10 hospitals across the Maldives.
50 face shields were donated to the following hospitals.
1. IGMH Pediatrics Department (Male’)
2. H A Atoll Hospital (HA Dhihdhoo)
3. Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital (H Dh Kulhudhuffushi)
4. Noonu Atoll Hospital (N Mandhoo)
5. Ungoofaaru Regional Hospital (R Ungoofaaru)
6. Vaavu Atoll Hospital (V Felidhoo)
7. Faafu Atoll Hospital (F Nilandhoo)
8. Thaa Atoll Hospital (Th Veymandoo)
9. Gan Regional Hospital (L Gan)
10. Ga. Atoll Hospital (G A Viligili)
“Based on the statistics published by the Health Protection Agency (HPA), we believe that protecting the frontliners during this time is of utmost importance. We are happy to have supported the health workers and other essential workers at the largest hospitals across the atolls. I would also like to take a moment to express my thank you to the frontline workers for their dedication and hard work during this time.” stated Mohamed Saeed, BML’s Manager Public Relations.
BML has undertaken a number of initiatives to ensure the safety of their customers due to the pandemic. They have digitalized a number of services, enabled appointments to visit branches, introduced short term financing, provided a moratorium for personal and business loans, extended the loan repayment period for all National Student Loans and educational assistance loans taken through BML, and provided relief through the Government’s Covid-19 Recovery Scheme.
ކޮވިޑް-19 އާ ގުޅިގެން ސިއްހީ ދާއިރާއަށް އެހީތެރިކަން ފޯރުކޮށްދިނުމަށްޓަކައި ބޭންކް އޮފް މޯލްޑިވްސް އިން 10 ހޮސްޕިޓަލަކަށް ފޭސް ޝީލްޑް ހަދިޔާކޮށްފިއެވެ. މިގޮތުން މި ހޮސްޕިޓަލްތަކަށް ވަނީ 500 ފޭސް ޝީލްޑް ހަދިޔާކޮށްފައެވެ.

ބީއެމްއެލް އިން ވަނީ ކޮވިޑް-19 އާ ގުޅިގެން ކަސްޓަމަރުންގެ ރައްކާތެރިކަމަށް ގިނަގުނަ ފިޔަވަޅުތަކެއް އަޅާފައެވެ. މިގޮތުން ގިނަ ހިދުމަތްތަކެއް އޮންލައިންކޮށް ލިބޭނެ މަގުފަހިކޮށް، އެޕޮއިންޓްމަންޓް އުސޫލުން ހިދުމަތް ދިނުމާއި، ޝޯޓް ޓަރމް ފައިނޭންސިންގ އެއް ތައާރަފް ކުރުމާއި، ޕަރސަނަލް، ހައުސިންގ އަދި ބިޒްނަސް ލޯނުތައް ފަސްކޮށްދިނުމާއި، ބޭންކް އޮފް މޯލްޑިވްސް މެދުވެރިކޮށް ނަގާފައިވާ ހުރިހާ ނެޝަނަލް ސްޓޫޑަންޓް ލޯނާއި އެޑިޔުކޭޝަނަލް އެސިސްޓަންސް ލޯނުތަކަށް ދައްކަންޖެހޭ މުއްދަތު ފަސްކޮށްދިނުމާއި، ސަރުކާރުގެ ކޮވިޑް-19 ރިކަވަރީ ސްކީމުގެ ދަށުން ބޭންކް އޮފް މޯލްޑިވްސް އިން ލޯނު ދޫކުރުން ހިމެނެއެވެ.
