Bank of Maldives has today announced the 5 winning proposals for the first quarter of 2020 as part of its “Aharenge Bank Community Fund’, a nationwide campaign to empower individuals to contribute to society by conducting sustainable community projects.
The winning five projects are:
“With the impact of COVID-19, we faced many difficulties to continue ‘Aharenge Bank’ community fund projects. However, just as we did last year our main focus is to continue and deliver 20 projects which benefits the community through our Community Fund program. Our gratitude and thanks goes to the individuals and NGOs working very hard to ensure that these projects are completed in due time even during this difficult period” commented BML’s Manager of Public Relations Mohamed Saeed.
With the introduction of Community Fund, we have financially supported projects conducted in 25 islands benefiting the local community.
Under the Aharenge Bank Community Fund, BML will select and allocate MVR 50,000 to projects in the areas of education, environment, sports and community development. This year the project submission is divided into 3 phase. 5 winning proposals will be selected during the 1st and 2nd phase while 10 winning proposals will be selected during the 3rd phase.
އަމިއްލަ ފަރުދުންނާއި ހިލޭސާބަހަށް މަސައްކަތްކުރާ ޖަމިއްޔާތަކުން ދެމެހެއްޓެނިވި ގޮތެއްގައި ރަށްރަށުގައި ހިންގުމަށް ބޭނުންވާ ޕްރޮޖެކްޓްތަކަށް އެހީވުމުގެ ގޮތުން ބޭންކް އޮފް މޯލްޑިވަސް އިން ތައާރަފްކުރި އަހަރެންގެ ބޭންކް ކޮމިނިއުޓީ ފަންޑުގެ މިއަހަރުގެ ފުރަތަމަ ކުއާޓަރގައި ހުށަހެޅުނު ޕްރޮޕޯސަލްތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން އެންމެ ފާހަގަ ކޮށްލެވޭ 5 ޕްރޮޖެކްޓް ހޮވައި އެ ޕްރޮޖެކްޓް ހިންގުމަށް ބޭނުންވާ ފައިސާ އެ ފަރާތްތަކާ ހަވާލުކޮށްފިއެވެ. މި ގޮތުން ހޮވުނު ފަސް ޕްރޮޖެކްޓަކީ:
" އަހަރެންގެ ބޭންކް ކޮމިއުނިޓީ ފަންޑުގެ ދަށުން ހިންގާ ޕްރޮޖެކްޓްތައް ކުރިއަށް ގެންދިޔުމުގައި މިވަނީ ކޮވިޑް-19 ގެ ސަބަބުން ކޮންމެވެސް ވަރެއްގެ ދަތިތަކާ ކުރިމަތިވެ، ޕްރޮޖެކްޓްތައް ނިންމުމުގައި ލަސްތަކެއްވެސް މިވަނީ ކުރިމަތިވެފަ. އެހެން ނަމަވެސް އަޅުގަނޑުމެންގެ އަމާޒަކީ މިދިޔަ އަހަރެކޭ އެއްގޮތަށް މިއަހަރުވެސް މުޖުތަމައަށް ފައިދާކުރާނެ ވިހި ޕްރޮޖެކްޓަކަށް މި ފަންޑުގެ ދަށުން އެހީތެރިކަންފޯރުކޮށްދިނުން. އަދި މިދަތި އުނދަގޫ ހާލަތުގައިވެސް ރަށްރަށުގައި މި ޕްރޮޖެކްޓްތައް ކުރިއަށް ގެންދިޔުމަށް އާންމު ފަރުދުންނާއި ޖަމިއްޔާތަކުން ކުރައްވަމުން ގެންދަވާ މަސައްކަތްފާހަގަކޮށް އެފަރާތްތަކަށް ޝުކުރު ދަންނަވަން." ބީއެމްއެލްގެ މެނޭޖަރ ޕަބްލިކް ރިލޭޝަންސް މުހައްމަދު ސައީދު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ.
ކޮމިއުނިޓީ ފަންޑާއެކު ރާއްޖޭގެ އެކި ކަންކޮޅުތަކުގައި ހިންގަމުންދާ ޕްރޮޖެކްޓްތަކަށް ބޭންކުން މާލީ އެހީތެރިކަން ފޯރުކޮށްދެވި، މުޖުތަމައުގެ ކުރިއެރުމަށާއި ލާބައަށް ކުރާ މަސައްކަތް މިވަނީ އިތުރުވެގެން ގޮސްފައެވެ. އަދި މި ފަންޑުގެ ދަށުން މިހާތަނަށް މިވަނީ 25 ރަށެއްގައި މުޖުތަމައަށް ފައިދާކުރާ ޕްރޮޖެކްޓްތަކެއް ހިންގުމަށް އެހީތެރިކަން ފޯރުކޮށްދެވިފައެވެ.
އަހަރެންގެ ބޭންކް ކޮމިއުނިޓީ ފަންޑަށް ހުށަހަޅާ ޕްރޮޕޯސަލްތަކަކީ ހިލޭ ސާބަހަށް ކުރާ މަސައްކަތްތަކަށާއި، ތަޢުލީމާއި، ކުޅިވަރު ހަރަކާތްތަކުގެ އިތުރުން ތިމާވެށި ހިމާޔަތްކުރުން ފަދަ ކަންކަމަށް އަމާޒުކޮށްގެން ހުށަހެޅޭ ޕްރޮޕޯސަލްތަކެކެވެ. މިއަހަރުގެ ޕްރޮޕޯސަލްތައް ހުށަހެޅުން 3 ފިޔަވައްސަކަށް ބަހާލުމަށްވަނީ ހަމަޖެހިފައެވެ. އަދި ފުރަތަމަ ދެ ފިޔަވަހީގައި ހުށަހަޅާ ޕްރޮޕޯސަލްތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން އެންމެ ރަނގަޅު ފަސް ޕްރޮޕޯސަލް ހޮވުމަށް ހަމަޖެހިފައިވާއިރު ތިންވަނަ ފިޔަވަހީގައި 10 ޕްރޮޕޯސަލް ހޮވިގެންދާނެއެވެ. ކޮންމެ ޕްރޮޕޯސަލް އެއްގައި ހިމެނޭ ހަރަކާތް ހިންގުމަށްޓަކައި 50,000 ރުފިޔާ ދިނުމަށްވަނީ ހަމަޖެހިފައެވެ.
