Bank of Maldives, the largest card issuer and acquirer in Maldives, celebrated five years of successful partnership with American Express at a ceremony held in Male’. To mark the occasion, Bank of Maldives organized a public reception at Holiday Inn, Male’, wherein Bank of Maldives and American Express reaffirmed their commitment to providing superior products and services by announcing the introduction of new products, benefits and features – some of which would be experienced for the first time by Maldivian Cardmembers.

Mr. Ali Hashim, Minister of Finance and Treasury of Government of Maldives was the Chief Guest of the reception, and several senior government officials and prominent business people graced the celebration and witnessed the commemoration of the partnership. - read more

Bank of Maldives announced its American Express Debit Card lucky draw winners for the month of June 2010 on 11 July 2010. The event was televised live on Television Maldives. All American Express Debit cardholders are automatically entered in to the draw when they make purchases with their card. Every month ten lucky winners will be chosen to receive their monthly card spend up to MRF 10,000 from June 2010 to May 2011. read more
