Capital Structure
The authorised and paid up share capital of the Bank during financial year 2008 remained unchanged as has been since 2007. The existing level of paid up capital and reserves is in excess of the minimum required by the Maldives Monetary Authority. The authorized capital remained at Rf 800,000,000 and the issued, subscribed and paid up capital of the Bank as at 31 December 2008 remained at Rf 269,096,000.
